With fond memories of our younger days together before I started working with Ray at Klingers one incident I recall :- During a chat with him we talked about my first day at Rowland Hill Secondary School for boys he was in the Walton House the colours of which were red and was known to be the top house teamon the first morning all the new boys lined up and the dept.head sorted out the four house groups Howard/Yellow Foster/Blue Middlton/Green andWalton/Red.All the boys names were called and put into their houses, I did not hear my name being called so I just stood there, Mr Moss came over and asked for my name I told him and he replied are you related to Raymond taylor ? I said I was he replied that there was a resemblance so he said that he would put me into Walton house, he was in charge of Walton house I WAS IN! In the main corridor leading to the assembly hall there hung on the wall a honours board and Rays name was on it I think he must have been the last entry.This will always stay with me,but I did not reach the same heights that Ray had reached.There are a few other tales during our working time together at Klingers for around ten years that will remain in my thoughts as fond memories.Bless you Ray, Tony and and Sylvia XX
